About the arcana
Major arcana number 17 in the Marsella tarot, The Star is a symbol of hope, inspiration and renewal. The central figure of the card is usually depicted naked, kneeling by a river, pouring water from two jars, symbolizing purification and abundance. In the sky, a bright star guides the way, surrounded by 7 other smaller stars, indicating divine guidance (some tarologists claim that the 7 smaller stars represent the 7 chakras).
This arcana suggests a period of healing and faith in better times, encouraging us to maintain optimism and trust in the process of transformation.
