About the artwork
In this reinterpretation of the major arcana The Hermit, the central figure is represented as a woman who carries within her the strength and wisdom of one who seeks answers within herself. Shades of brown, red and copper dominate the composition, symbolizing the connection with the earth, vitality and the quest for knowledge.
Elements such as the lamp, which lights the way even in the dark, the snake, representing transformation and ancestral wisdom, and the staff, symbolizing support and balance, complete the visual narrative.
